The product will combine BVOD, FAST, AVOD, and Live TV all at once, allowing audiences to lean back, lean forward, catch up, and watch their favorite shows live.
The deal consists of 429 episodes across 11 different series and four movies, including 14 seasons of Canada’s longest running one-hour scripted drama “Heartland,” Gordon Ramsay’s award-winning “Hell’s Kitchen,” and the comedy-drama superhero series “The Greatest American Hero."
AVOD revenues for TV series and movies will reach US$69 billion by 2029, up by US$30 billion from US$39 billion in 2023, according to Digital TV Research latest “Global AVOD Forecasts” report.
