The Indie Factual Distributor has sold several titles from its varied and robust catalog including cutting-edge science series, investigative specials and history docs.

The Group TF1 broadcaster will also have editorial participation in the production of the science/history series, and it has also licensed two other BIG Media documentary series "Spycraft" and "Secret Vatican Files: The Pope & the Devil".

The deals include more than 250 hours of scripted and factual content covering the lifestyle, true crime, history, and science genres. Some of them involve specific genre-based channels joining established players across the region.

Through this partnership, companies will co-finance and produce 60 hours of unscripted content in the history and science genres over the next three years.

The 34 new and returning titles include new seasons from HGTV Canada’s trusted home and design experts, new challenges from Food Network Canada’s competition series, new points of view from The History Channel´s docu-series and documentaries, and a fresh take on romantic comedy made-for-TV movies on W Network, plus new and animated characters from Nelvana on Treehouse, YTV and Cartoon Network.
