Starring Emma Appleton, Laurie Davidson, David Jonsson, Isabella Laughland and Angus Imrie, the film will debut on the Boxing Day in the UK, Canada and Australia.
The programme supports the audiovisual sector by funding selected projects related to film development and distribution, online and TV content, as well as the creation of innovative tools and business models in the audiovisual industry.
Submissions are open to Women in Film & Television members free of charge and may include both film and TV projects and the event will take place in London before travelling across the UK.
Reporting to Chief Programming Officer Steve North, Emma will be responsible for developing and delivering the drama content strategy across UKTV’s channels and free streaming service U.
The new agreement will feature the ad-supported version of Max as part of the Sky bundle at no additional cost when it debuts in the UK and Ireland in early 2026.
