Former ITV Director William van Rest announced the launch of JEM Media Ventures, a new company designed to help businesses, brands and talent create ancillary income streams with IP, assets and/or unused inventory.
Since its launch on ITV, UK in 2005, "Cash Cab" has become one of the top 10 most travelled quiz shows in the world, with over 9,000 episodes produced in more than 50 countries including the US, France, Australia and Thailand.
The agreement sees FAST and AVOD rights to highly popular British scripted and unscripted programming including “Hell’s Kitchen” and “Kitchen Nightmares” franchises and new content like “Upstairs, Downstairs.”
The first episode of the show has been watched by 9.2 million viewers, making it ITV's best new drama for three years since the Pembrokeshire Murders in January 2021 when the country was in lockdown.
ITV and ITV Studios appointed Iain MacLeod as Executive Producer for Continuing Drama. With immediate effect, MacLeod will be responsible for leading the creative teams who produce both “Coronation Street” and “Emmerdale.”
