The BBC and “MasterChef” producer, Shine TV, have agreed a multi-series deal, which sees the production of the show move out of London for the first time since 2001, and a commitment to “MasterChef” titles on the BBC for six years.
Currently, there are more than 70 products in the new MasterChef Brasil official store and in 2022, Endemol Shine Brasil expects to offer more than 200 items.
Endemol Shine North America, a division of Banijay Americas, is expanding its relationship with acclaimed chef and author Aarón Sánchez and looking to develop potential scripted projects with the “MasterChef” judge.
Screentime New Zealand, a Banijay company, and Discovery have struck a deal with the support of Banijay Rights, which will see “MasterChef NZ” launch on Discovery’s Three in 2022.
Banijay announced that its hit format “MasterChef” has surpassed an incredible 500 series since its reboot in 2005, reaching this milestone with the first-ever “MasterChef Tamil,” which is currently on air.
