"MeteoHeroes – Saving Planet Earth", which invites children to join the stars of kids’ show "MeteoHeroes", was recognised in the Best PlayStation Commitment Game category.

Following the digital launch in February of the first-ever “MeteoHeroes” videogame on PlayStation and PC, Mondo TV Studios announced the arrival of the game “MeteoHeroes – Saving Planet Earth” in physical format.

The show aired last April in the US and inspired a videogame on digital platforms, PlayStation and PC.

Highlights from the month include: Take-Two Interactive planning to buy Zynga for $12.7 billion, Microsoft planning to buy Activision Blizzard for $68.7 billion, and PlayStation announcing it will buy Bungie for $3.6 billion.

As of 2020, the video games market is now worth over $163.1 billion worldwide, up from $152 billion last year, with scope to change significantly with the imminent release of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles, according to TechNET.
