The global media company has secured the rights for the Nicolas Cage-starring horror movie in Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Benelux, and Israel. The film wil showcase in other territories soon.

“Arcadia” (working title), a thriller series, and “Bajo Un Volcán” (working title), a film, are set to start production later in the year.

Directed By Award-winning Director Yorgos Zois, the drama-fantasy is co-produced by Veselka Kiryakova at Red Carpet in association with Two & Two Pictures and was supported by Eurimages, Greek Film Center, Bulgarian National Film Center, Ekome, Flux Laboratory Athens and Onassis Culture.

The Sci-fi Thriller coproduced between VRT, KRO-NCRV (NPO) and WDR/SWR and distributed by Wild Bunch TV, was selected in European competition of the Festival.

The deal will see both parties co-develop new factual projects, together seeking financing based on pre-sales. Initial discussions on a slate of innovative new projects include “Disaster: If It Happened Today” and CGI history dive series, “Wreck Raisers”.
