Former Cinecittà Studios CEO Nicola Maccanico will run Italy Division, while Bruno Fallot has been promoted to oversee Fremantle’s production in France, Spain, Portugal and Israel.
The terms of the agreement includes the rental of six soundstages at the Roman-based studios and long-term use of service premises, costume and prop facilities, and digital post-production, among other benefits.
The new streaming service for Italian culture has also announced a new content partnership with Italian studio Cinecittà that will provide exclusive access to its great Archivio Storico Luce.
