Amuz Distribution announced its first deal since the recent rebrand from ComediHa! Distribution. This new development involves a format license agreement for scripted comedy series “Writer’s Block.”

Focusing on great comedy and feel-good scripted and unscripted content, the company expands ComediHa! Distribution’s mission to create and sell finished programmes and originals.

Under the terms of the deal, WildBrain will hold exclusive FAST and AVOD distribution rights worldwide for the title, excluding YouTube, Canada and Italy.

The hit comedy series produced in collaboration with Bell Media will be adapted also for the United States market later this year.

The team is now preparing for the Quebec broadcast, set to launch in 2023 on Club Illico, and will the series on the international stage, starting with MIPCOM in Cannes.
