It´s a six-part psychological thriller based on former police officer Anders de la Motte’s bestselling Swedish novel of the same name. Viaplay Content Distribution has pre-sold the series to partners in more than 40 markets.

The company has appointed Johan Johansson as Executive Vice President, Group Chief Financial Officer, and co-CEO of Swedish operations. Meanwhile, Christian Albeck, Executive Vice President of Content Acquisition, will also assume the additional role of co-CEO of the Swedish operations on a permanent basis.

In an unpredecented deal, the French company will represent the Swedish-Finnish thriller outside of SkyShowtime’s markets, and within existing markets offering second window rights.

In her new role, the executive will oversee programming for the Stockholm-based company, as well as studio and production.
