After its global debut on Apple TV+, "Ted Lasso" broke records and quickly earned praise and acclaim, with season one becoming the most Emmy-nominated comedy series in its first season, and landing rare back-to-back Outstanding Comedy Series Emmys for its first two seasons on air.

The show brings together 25 former athletes — some who had to walk away from their dreams, and others who retired on their own terms — as they compete in grueling physical and psychological challenges for a 30 million yen prize to jump-start a new career.

The title stars Alícia Falcó, Pablo Álvarez, and Georgina Amorós. The series is an adaptation of the novel by Spanish writer Alice Kellen, published by Editorial Planeta.

Under terms of their first look deal, Lion Forge and Oware will partner on a slate of select projects to develop, finance and sell to global buyers together, starting with MIPCOM and MIPJR this October.

The MipJunior programme will feature thought leaders, innovative business models, fresh content and audience insights under the banner ‘The Transformation Starts Here’; with round table networking sessions spanning both days and all areas of the kid’s eco-system.
