"The Clan" is based on the scripted format "Insider" (Icerde) from Turkish production giant Ay Yapim, which was licensed for remake to Pro TV by Eccho Rights. The spin off is called "Our Father".

La producción cuenta con la participación de Atresmedia TV, ha comenzado su rodaje en diferentes localizaciones de Madrid y Canarias. Eduardo Galdo, responsable de Secuoya Studios Stories, y Montse García, de Atresmedia, son los productores ejecutivos.

Set in modern-day Istanbul, the series stars Haluk Bilginer, Ethan Kai and Yasemin Kay Allen. The title is produced by Turkish production company Ay Yapim, distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution and it will launch later this year on BBC iPlayer and TV channels.
