Lakna Edirisinghe, Carina Samuels and Eva Thomas will be part of the only accelerator program in Canada that is focused on elevating senior writers who identify as Indigenous, Black or People of Colour.

Participants for the second year are Vance Banzo, Nelu Handa, Amanda Joy, JP Larocque, Robina Lord-Stafford, and Shannon Masters.

The main objective of the Catalyst program is to support the advancement of diverse Canadian creators and the inaugural participants are Andrew Burrows-Trotman, Motion and Ian Iqbal Rashid.
