BBC Studios Kids & Family has announced the appointments of Katharina Pietzsch as VP Content Sales and Kelly Wood in the newly created role of Head of Content Strategy.

BBC Studios’ Head of Kids & Family Productions, Helen Bullough, is leaving the company after 11 years. During her tenure, Bullough oversaw programming including “JoJo & Gran Gran,” “My Mum Tracy Beaker” and “Blue Peter.”

The new business, to be known as BBC Studios Productions, will be a single content powerhouse combining all the commercial arm’s productions, talent relationships, and content investment.

Based on an original creation by Cyber Group Studios and developed with Boomerang, season 2 of “Taffy” will consist of 78 brand new 7-minute episodes, expanding the property to a total of 156 episodes.
