The former Netflix executive faced a turbulent period at ABC, during which he was involved in the controversy over the dismissal of fill-in presenter Antoinette Lattouf and witnessed his division being split after the arrival of new chair Kim Williams.
ABC hit comedy "Fisk" and political drama "Total Control" have each received five nominations for 2025 Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts awards.
Under the newly created role, Chris Oliver-Taylor will oversee the new Content division created from the merger of the current Entertainment & Specialist and Regional & Local divisions.
Set to air in Australia 2022 on ABC TV, the six-part series is created by award-winning writer Tommy Murphy and it will be internationally distributed by Fremantle.
Created and written by Andrew Knight and Max Dann, the project serves as an investment on behalf of Screen Australia, in association with the ABC and Screen Tasmania, and Film Victoria, who financed it.
