Barb has released data from its “Establishment Survey” showing that 65.9% of UK households had access to a subscription video-on-demand service in the second quarter of 2023.

In the first quarter of 2022, the number of UK households with access to a SVOD service reached 19.57 million (68.5% of households), an increase of almost 500.000 homes since the fourth quarter of 2021, according to data from BARB.

The number of UK households with a subscription to any subscription video-on-demand service is now 18.8 million homes (66%), up from 17.4 million during the third quarter of 2020, according to BARB.
