The original series, co-produced and co-created by CBC and The Gurin Company Inc., saw the worldwide sales ahead of this year’s virtual MIPTV event. The culinary format has been acquired by Aito Media in Finland, WeMake in France, Rockstar in Poland, and Germany's Endemol Shine.

CBC SELLS THE ORIGINAL FORMAT "FRIDGE WARS" TO THE CW NETWORK
The culinary competition series pits two celebrity chefs against one another to create extraordinary meals using only the ingredients taken from the ordinary fridges of typical families and is set to premiere August 2 in the United State.
