Grierson Trustees have lauded Houseman for the breadth, quality, and diversity of the documentary projects he has worked on over many years in the industry, alongside his longstanding commitment to developing and nurturing the next generation of editing talent.
The recognition program is run in association with All3Media. The Grierson Trust maintains a strong commitment to improving inclusivity within documentary and factual television. Entrants are asked to provide information on the diversity of directors, the broader production team, and on-screen themes.
On this occasion, the awards are being held in association with All3Media. The BBC leads this year’s awards longlist with 31 entries across its channels and on iPlayer.
They join the Trust’s existing patrons, Sir David Attenborough, Nick Broomfield, Christopher Hird, Kim Longinotto, Charlotte Moore, Norma Percy and Sir Grayson Perry.
