The show is being produced in Belgium before moving to York later this spring. Beta Film will distribute it worldwide, and PBS Distribution holds the North American rights to the series.
The network, which premiered earlier this month, offers educational and STEM-based titles targeted at children between the ages of 2 and 8 years old, including “Donkey Hodie,” “Arthur,” and “Elinor Wonders Why,” among others.
In her new role, Downing will provide strategic, financial, and operational leadership for PBSd as the organization continues to expand the reach of public media content across digital platforms.
