Gurin has served on the FRAPA board for 16 years, most recently as chair for the past 10, and is president and CEO of award-winning prodco The Gurin Company and founder of specialist format distribution company TGC Global Entertainment (TGC GE).
The Format Recognition and Protection Association heads into 25th anniversary year with five new board members and renewed focus on its ‘mission, services and purpose’.
Both companies will share the distribution of format, with Fuji Creative Corp, the distribution arm of Fuji TV, handling Asia and TGC GE representing the format in the rest of the world.
The first project is "K-Pop Dreams" which sets out to turn the world’s growing fascination with all thing’s ‘K’ into a 10-episode non-conventional talent search format.
