The expansion and investment would incorporate additional film stages and production facilities alongside the development of a data centre in Buckinghamshire.

It will offer cutting-edge virtual production technology, with a 236m2 Sound Stage and a series of R&D labs featuring spatial audio, volumetric capture and multisensory devices as well as a private 5G/6G Network.

The Sean Connery Stage, serving as one of the company's five stages, spans 18,000 square feet.

The new structure will include studio buildings, a visitor attraction and education and business growth hubs (known as ‘Centre Stage’).

The new studio, estimated to take up a £500 million investment, will expand the company's overall production abilities and boost the UK economy by an estimated £355 million and the creation of over 3500 jobs in the area.
