A research by Pixalate revealed that Samsung Smart TV was the only CTV platform to see higher Invalid Traffic (IVT) rate on FAST apps vs. non-FAST apps; Ad spend SOV declined across Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Samsung Smart TV and Apple TV (-44%).

Based on programmatic ad transactions, it was noted that 20 top-rising Roku store apps saw ad spend gains during outbreak, with Hulu and Sling TV contributing the most to a rise of over 30%. Hulu increased by 44% and Sling TV by over 30%.
