The second largest U.S. cinema chain announced the decision due to the ongoing pandemic and lack of new Hollywood releases, as well as the new Bond movie “No Time to Die” release delay.
Starting on the 10th of April with the “Trolls World Tour” release, each movie will be offered for a 48-hour rental period for the price of $19.99 in the U.S.. The films will be available for rental on iTunes, Amazon, and other digital platforms.
To date, cinemas are entirely or partially dark in more than 50 international markets, including United States, China, France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, and Ireland, among others.
