The historical epic, already breaking ratings records in Hungary and winning strong youth audiences on ORF, lands deals with Rai, HRT, Telekom Deutschland, and more, with CBC GEM to launch the series in Canada on September 19.

Following its MIPCOM Cannes premiere and strong ratings in Hungary, Beta Film’s "Rise of the Raven" continues its European rollout. The 15th-century historical drama has been picked up by multiple broadcasters across the continent.

Its World Premiere will be at the 40th International Co-Production and Entertainment Content Market in Cannes (21-24 October 2024). The 10 episode event series is set to air in 2025 with Beta Film distributing internationally.

Austrian pubcaster ORF joined epic Central European television production “Rise of the Raven” as co-producer. Produced by Robert Lantos, the show is described as “a panoramic celebration of medieval times.”
