Globo's "Pantanal’ premieres on Telefe channel in Argentina

Traveling around the world, ‘Pantanal’ is currently airing on channels such as SIC, in Portugal, HRT, in Croatia, Chilevisión, in Chile, in addition to being on the Paramount+ platform, which makes the production available in Latin America (except in Brazil).

"Pantanal", Globo’s successful production, premieres in Argentina on March, 29th, on the free TV channel Telefe. Audience leader in its airing in Brazil, the telenovela is available in the international market and has already been licensed for more than 100 territories.

The series tells the story of a young man who, after the mysterious disappearance of his father, Juventino, the pawn José Leoncio becomes a rich Pantanal farmer. More than twenty years have passed and, bitter by the disappearance of his father and his wife's flight to Rio de Janeiro with his baby son, José Leoncio has the opportunity to reconcile with the child, now a young man who was raised in the great city with values and habits very different from yours.

Written 32 years ago by Benedito Ruy Barbosa, ‘Pantanal’ was adapted by his grandson, Bruno Luperi, for its re-exhibition. With artistic direction by Rogério Gomes and Gustavo Fernandez, the cast includes names such as Marcos Palmeira (‘Sweet Diva’), Murilo Benício (‘The Clone’), Juliana Paes (‘India: A Love Story’), Renato Góes (‘Orphans of a Nation’), among others.
