The global distributor of Turkish dramas Madd Entertainment announced that this season’s hit series “A Woman Scorned,” the psychological woman drama based on BBC One’s award-winning “Dr. Foster,” continues its ratings dominance in Turkey, with last night’s episode setting a new rating high.
In fact, 13 episodes after its debut, viewership has doubled and the program is #1 across all demographic groups. The show scored 11.8 rating points and 24.4% of market share among Total Viewers. In the 20+ ABC1, it achieved 13.9 rating points and 27.1% of share. Lastly, the series registered 12.8 rating points and 28% of share in the AB segment.
The Medyapim series features top Turkish star Cansu Dere as a woman betrayed by her husband, played by Caner Cindoruk, in an affair. She goes to extraordinary lengths to protect herself and her family.
