MTV News will soon present “We Have to Talk About Honduras.” The network's new original documentary will premiere exclusively on MTV Latin America on 20th August at 8:00 pm in Mexico and Colombia, and at 10 pm in Argentina.

This documentary is produced and presented by MTV News for MTV Latin America. After its premiere on MTV, Univision will air the documentary in the United States, on Argentina by free-to-air television network Telefe, and on streaming on both Pluto TV Latin America’s MTV Channel and @MTVLA's YouTube Channel.

The documentary was created by MTV in partnership with UNICEF and is presented by Puerto Rican hit-making Puerto Rican musician and urban singer-songwriter, Justin Quiles, with the help of Honduran rapper and urban visual artist Mayki Graff. Mayki Graff will travel through various cities in Honduras to show us the reality faced by hundreds of thousands of people through the first-person accounts of young people who undertook the dangerous migrant route and were victims of its multiple traps.

The documentary allows victims to tell their testimonies, revealing the harsh reality they face by staying in Honduras. The film gives a first-hand look at the precarious options young people and women have for a dignified life in their native country, and their motivation to endure miles of excrutiating conditions to reach a safer place.
