NICK JR. TO AIR NEW GENIUS BRANDS “RAINBOW RANGERS” EPISODES

The third season of the show s set to air this fall, 11th October, with accessibility in regions worldwide. It's been three years since Genius Brands began broadcasting its shows on Nick Jr..

Genius Brands International announced the premiere of several new episodes of its animated school series, “Rainbow Rangers.” The slate of new programs is set to air this fall, 11th October. “The support from Nick Jr. since the launch of Rainbow Rangers in 2018 has been amazing, and the upcoming October premiere dovetails nicely with the launch of our first toy line from Mattel in Walmart stores,” Jess Brinder, Vice President of International Distribution, said.

It's been three years since Genius Brands initiated its broadcast partnership with Nickelodeon. In addition to Nick Jr. in the U.S., Rainbow Rangers will also be accessible in other networks and regions, such as Corus Entertainment’s  Treehouse in Canada, Televisa and BLIM TV in Mexico, Nine Network in Australia, CCTV and iQiyi in China, Nickelodeon and NOGGIN in various Latin American regions, Cartoonito in Italy, TV2 in Hungary, NOGA in Israel, Mini Mini in Poland, Canal Panda in Portugal, Discovery Kids in the Middle East, and Pikaboo in Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Herzegovina. 

The third broadcast season of “Rainbow Rangers” will debut on Nick Jr.’s “Sunday Girls Rule” block at 11:00 a.m. with a Halloween-themed program, followed by subsequent episodes through 22nd November 2020. Some of the creatives who contributed to the show include Disney’s 'The Lion King' Director Rob Minkoff,  Disney’s Frozen co-writer Shane Morris, Tim Mansfield, and New York Times Bestselling author and Emmy Award-nominated writer Elise Allen who serves as head writer and co-creator. Michael Maliani directs the series, and Genius Brands' Chairman & CEO and multiple Emmy Award-winning producers, Andy Heyward, serves as executive producer.

"Rainbow Rangers" is a rescue-based series that follows the adventures of seven girls who serve as Earth’s first responders, protecting people, animals, resources, and the natural beauty of our world. The airing of the show correlates with the recent Walmart retail launch of multi-figure action-packed inspired by the show created by Fisher-Price, inspired by the show.
