“A Promessa”
SIC has premiered the new novela “A Promessa” in the Portuguese Prime Time with record results. The premiere of the fiction, adaptation of the Turkish format Zalim Istambul from Kanal D, achieved a record result of 27.0% share and 13.4% average audience. "The country hasn’t seen this numbers since the pandemic," asserted from SIC.
“A Promessa” is an SP Televisão production for SIC, written and adapted by Inês Gomes and Cândida Ribeiro and it focuses on the relationship between two families from the same homeland but with very different financial backgrounds, who end up involved in a secret deal, giving rise to conflicts, but also to forbidden passions tangled up in a complex plot.
The fiction is star by João Catarré, Joana Ribeiro, Victoria Guerra and Lourenço Ortigão and promises to be another example of success, bringing to Portuguese television the richness of the narrative and the emotional intensity characteristic of Turkish productions
