Viaplay Group announced a downgrade of its short-term outlook for 2023 and named Jorgen Madsen Lindemann as the new CEO of Viaplay Group, following Anders Jensen's resignation.

The executive confirms his departure following a 20-year tenure with the company. Anders Jensen has been appointed to assume the responsibilities until a successor or revised organizational structure is selected.

The Viaplay streaming service will launch in the US on a direct-to-consumer (D2C) basis on 22 February and in Canada on 7 March.
