In his new role, Roberts will lead the day-to-day international sales strategy for Boat Rocker’s premium scripted and documentary content, across the UK and EMEA. Meanwhile, Erik Pack expands global co-production remit.
The deal was brokered by Natalie Vinet for Boat Rocker and Nora Zimmett and Howard Sappington for Weather Group. It includes over 400 hours of content across 18 series.
The new animated series will air with CBC/Radio-Canada and Warner Bros. Discovery as broadcast partners across Canada, Europe, Middle East, and Africa in 2026.
Live action mixed series "Olga da Polga", tween dance drama "The Next Step", and ghoulish comedy "The Strange Chores" have been sold in several territories.
Deal builds on global success of "Secrets In…" franchise. Boat Rocker is already in advanced negotiations with key European broadcasters for pre-sales for all three series.
