"Ages of Ice" will be broadcast in the US on ABC TV and ABC iview in 2026. The series is co-commissioned by the ABC and PBS from US, produced by Northern Pictures, with production investment from Screen Australia in association with Screen NSW, and produced in association with and distributed internationally by ITV Studios.

Meanwhile, PBS´s Masterpiece signs TV rights for the US and English-speaking Canada. Also confirmed is a digital rights deal with CBC Gem, alongside acquisitions in Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Europe.

It was acquired by the US public broadcaster PBS, which has also purchased the rights for Series 1 in North America. Both Series 1 and 2 have also been sold to SBS Food Australia and AMC Networks Central & Northern Europe for broadcast in Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Moldova, and Romania. This marks the first time this programming will be available for free on a major streaming service, free to customers across the country. "Big Cats 24/7" picked up in China, Finland, France, Germany and Spain with further countries expected. "Big Cats 24/7" will also be available on the BBC Earth channel in: Albania, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Kosovo, Romania, Malta, Macedonia, Montenegro, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa and Turkey.
