ABC, PBS, and ITV Studios Team Up to produce "Ages of Ice" series

"Ages of Ice" will be broadcast in the US on ABC TV and ABC iview in 2026. The series is co-commissioned by the ABC and PBS from US, produced by Northern Pictures, with production investment from Screen Australia in association with Screen NSW, and produced in association with and distributed internationally by ITV Studios.

ABC, PBS, ITV Studios, Screen Australia and Screen NSW kicked off the production of the new three-part natural history series. From the Emmy-Award-winning Northern Pictures, "Ages of Ice" follows the brave scientists pushing the boundaries of exploration and human endeavor in Earth’s coldest corners to understand the changes of ice and what this means for our planet’s future.

ABC Head of Documentary & Specialist, Susie Jones said: “We’re excited to partner with Northern Pictures and PBS on this landmark new series. The ABC is committed to commissioning innovative natural history content, and we can’t wait to share Ages of Ice with Australian audiences”.
