Following a record-breaking summer for ITV Studios’ flagship dating format “Love Island”, Zoo 55, part of ITV Studios, has launched a new FAST channel titled “World of Love Island” exclusively for U.S. audiences on Prime Video. The move extends the global franchise into ad-supported streaming, building on the success of the format across multiple markets.

The “World of Love Island” FAST channel offers a curated slate of over 300 hours of content, including full episodes from “Love Island UK” seasons three and five and “Love Island Australia” seasons one and two. The deal, which brings the brand to Prime Video’s FAST offering in the U.S., was led by Jane Dribinskaya, VP FAST & DTC Partnerships at Zoo 55.

Zoo 55 COO Graham Haigh said, “‘Love Island’ continues to go from strength to strength as one of the biggest global formats. We’re delighted to be building on this with the exclusive launch of ‘World of Love Island,’ one of the most eagerly anticipated FAST channels in the U.S.”

The FAST expansion comes on the heels of a standout summer season for the franchise. “Love Island USA” season 7 became Peacock’s most-watched original season of all time, clocking over 18.4 billion minutes streamed over six weeks. It also ranked as the #1 streaming original title in the U.S. during the week of its finale. Meanwhile, in the UK, the finale of “Love Island UK” season 12 drew an average of 2.4 million viewers—the biggest finale in three years—bringing total streams for the series to 173 million, up 8% year-on-year.

“World of Love Island” has already made inroads in the Nordic region through platforms including Pluto, Samsung, and Rakuten since 2023. Additionally, the franchise’s dedicated YouTube channel has attracted over 470,000 subscribers.

As the demand for reality content grows in the FAST ecosystem, ITV Studios is leveraging “Love Island”’s brand power to further its global footprint. All completed seasons of “Love Island UK” and “Love Island Australia” remain available to stream in the U.S. on Hulu.
