ABC Commercial has sold award-winning TV comedy "Fisk" to ITV for its streaming platform ITVX. The hit Australian series stared top comedy talent Kitty Flanagan (co-creator, co-writer and co-director of the program), will premiere on ITV platform on 10 August 2023.

Flanagan stars alongside fellow comedians Julia Zemiro, Marty Sheargold and Aaron Chen in a series that takes an affectionate look at life in a small suburban law firm specialising in wills and estates. "Fisk" is available in neutral Spanish and French and ABC Commercial holds worldwide distribution rights.

Kitty Flanagan said: “I’m thrilled that 'Fisk' is going to be screened on ITVX. I grew up watching British comedies, I lived in London and worked on the incomparable UK comedy circuit for eight years alongside many of the current stars of UK comedy, watching and learning from the best, so hopefully I have a good understanding of the UK audience. And with 'Fisk', I feel like we’ve made a show that will really appeal to that audience; it’s understated, ticks along fast, the characters are realistic and relatable and most importantly, it will make you laugh.”

On the ABC network, "Fisk" achieved a complete average audience for season one of close to two million and an overnight audience of over one million for the broadcast season two finale. The series has already resonated globally too, with season one winning the award for Best Series (Comedies) at Series Mania France and the TBI Content Innovation Awards for Series Launch of the Year.

ITV Head of Content Acquisitions Sasha Breslau said: “At ITVX we are constantly expanding and evolving our comedy offering, and we are delighted to add 'Fisk' to the collection.”

Karen Quinn, Manager Content Sales, ABC Commercial said: “'Fisk' is a highly successful, whip-smart Australian comedy, and we’re excited to be working with ITVX to share it with audiences in the UK.”
