A+E Networks EMEA partners with streaming media company Plex

The agreement is to offer popular UK and US content in the UK. Today, Plex combines free ad-supported TV with ad-supported video on demand to, on its own, reach more than 22 million monthly active users globally.

Global streaming media company Plex, the independent ad-supported video-on-demand and streaming media platform, announced A+E Networks EMEA, a joint venture between Hearst and Sky in the UK, will offer five FAST channels soon streaming on Plex in the UK. A+E Networks EMEA content on Plex will include popular shows and series from both the UK and the U.S., featuring captivating history, true crime, mystery, and world war stories. The channels launching are Inside Crime, History Hunters, World War TV, Mystery TV, and Deal Masters. 

Today, Plex combines free ad-supported TV with ad-supported video on demand (“AVOD”) to, on its own, reach more than 22 million monthly active users globally.  Plex has the industry's most widely available ad-supported video-on-demand and live TV offerings in over 180 countries. An emerging leader in FAST and AVOD, the company recently announced it has the most extensive FAST channel lineup worldwide, including over 800 free channels streamed in the U.S. alone. which will be easily accessible to T-Mobile customers once launched.

An independent streaming media company, Plex has partnered with A+E EMEA to offer its content in the United States since 2020. Other Plex content partners include Lionsgate, New Regency, Banijay Rights, Fremantle Trinity Creative, Kaleidoscope Films, Signature Ent.
