A+E Networks EMEA launches streaming channels on Prime Video in Belgium

A+E Networks EMEA’s streaming channels History Play and Crime+Investigation Play launched on Prime Video Channels in Belgium on 15th August 2023.  Customers in Belgium will have access to A+E Networks EMEA’s programming as an on-demand subscription service. “We are excited that Prime members in Belgium can now watch our premium true crime and history content," Adrian Pilkington, COO of A+E Networks EMEA and GM Northern Europe, Middle East, and Africa said. 

History Play and Crime + Investigation Play will be available in Belgium through add-on subscription worth €3.99. With a 14-day free trial via the existing Prime Video app to watch anytime, anywhere on smart TVs, iOS and Android mobile devices, Amazon Fire TV, Fire TV Stick, Fire tablets, and games consoles and through the web. The expansion of A+E Networks EMEA’s Play services on Prime Video Channels in Belgium follows the company’s product successes in the UK, Germany, Austria, Netherlands, Poland, and Sweden. 

History Play offers award-winning documentaries and factual series, including "The Curse of Oak Island," "Curse of Skinwalker Ranch," "World’s Greatest Treasure Mysteries," "Ancient Aliens, and "Forged in Fire." From launch, customers in Belgium will enjoy popular stories and characters, like Rick and Marty Lagina, on their mission-of-a-lifetime to seek out Captain William Kidd’s treasure on Oak Island, Nova Scotia, or the investigations of Astrophysicist Dr. Travis Taylor and his group of experts who are searching to uncover the truth about the creepy occurrences at the remote 512-acre plot of land in northeastern Utah in Curse of Skinwalker Ranch, one of the most famous paranormal reality shows on television. 

Crime+Investigation Play will offer subscribers A+E Networks EMEA’s true crime content, including series "The First 48," "Meet Marry Murder," and "Secrets of Playboy," available from launch. "This launch is a great addition to our recent international expansion, which included launching our streaming channels in Poland and Sweden," Pilkington said.
