The Spanish multimedia group Atresmedia Internacional debuts in the FAST segment with three new channels, which are added to its offer. In this way, Zona Investigación, Cine y Series, and Única join the group's four linear channels: Antena 3, Atreseries, Atrescine, and ¡HOLA! TV, in addition to the Atresplayer platform.
For this initial phase, the company has chosen Fubo and Plex, two American platforms with strong offerings in the Latin market. This alliance is the first of others being analyzed in line with the company's strategy for expanding the presence of its FAST channels in the Americas. Let's now review what each of these new channels consists of.
Firstly, Zona Investigación provides an in-depth look at the most challenging realities with a journalistic approach to thoroughly uncover what truly happens. It offers reports, documentaries, interviews, and impactful reports that reveal unprecedented facts and human stories, following extensive research.
On the other hand, Cine y Series offers a selection of Spanish series and movies spanning all genres: comedy, drama, and intrigue, among others. Another noteworthy aspect is that these contents include productions with some of the most recognized directors and actors in the global scene.
Self-care is also not left behind: Única is a lifestyle channel that focuses on personal well-being through ideas, advice, and real stories featuring important and recognized women.
Finally, the director of Atresmedia Internacional, Mar Martínez-Raposo, described the company's objectives: "We want to bring our content closer to the new audiences emerging in the market, highlighting the extensive experience, production strength, and enormous library of ATRESMEDIA, which succeeds worldwide," stated.
