APC secures global sales for "The Best of Us" French crime thriller

About Premium Content has closed its first international sales for French crime thriller "The Best of Us" (4x52’), produced by Quad Drama ("Women at War") and TS Productions for France Télévisions. The series premiered in January on France 3, staying on top of prime time ratings throughout its first run, and now it was sold to ZDF for Germany, AMC Networks International for Spain and Portugal, Acorn TV North America for the UK and Ireland and EITB for Spain.

"The Best of Us" is written by Lucie Prost, Aurélia Morali ("Chronicles of the Sun"), Isabel Sebastian ("The Intern"), directed by Floriane Crépin and starring Mariama Gueye ("Standing Up").

When local star athlete Abel Guérin is found dead in a snowy field, with a bullet in his head, his village is in shock. Awa Sissako, a young police captain from the city, is dispatched on the case to support the local lieutenant. Everyone is confused by the murder, since Abel seemed beloved and admired by all. However, through the investigation, this image of the ideal hometown hero gradually crumbles and, very quickly.
