ATRESMEDIA’S “VENENO” REMAINS UNSTOPPABLE OUTSIDE SPAIN

After landing successfully in Latin America and the United States through HBO Max, the series just premiered in France on BrutX, and is now preparing to reach new international markets.

A year has passed since Atresplayer Premium premiered the first episode of “Veneno,” and the series continues to soar around the world, picking up on its early success in Spain and seeding the revolution in new territories. After landing successfully in Latin America and the United States through HBO Max, the series just premiered in France on BrutX, and is now preparing to reach new international markets.

Currently, “Veneno” is in advanced negotiations to reach more than twenty markets, including Canada, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Belgium, Russia, Czech Republic, Georgia, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Bulgaria, Liechtenstein, Moldova, Netherlands, Sweden, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Romania, Iceland, and Luxembourg.

The fiction program is already part of the prestigious Series Atresmedia label, the Spanish fiction brand with the greatest international presence and success, and whose catalog includes productions such as “La Casa de papel,” “El Tiempo entre costuras,” “Velvet,” “Gran Hotel,” “Vis a Vis,” “Toy Boy,” and more.

“Veneno” is a series created by Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi, and is based on the life and death of Cristina Ortiz, La Veneno. The show stars three actresses: Isabel Torres, Daniela Santiago and Jedet, who play La Veneno in the different stages of her life. The story of Valeria, the young journalist who wrote her biography and who is portrayed by Lola Rodríguez, also features prominently in the story.

The series is produced by Atresmedia Televisión in collaboration with Buendía Estudios and Suma Latina, and is a co-production with Apache Films. Javier Calvo, Javier Ambrossi, Sonia Martínez and David Troncoso are the executive producers.
