Turkish company ATV Distribution has signed a deal with Canela Media to bring Turkish TV series to the U.S. and Latin America. Four titles will be available to stream for free on the Canela.TV app, including “Safir” in the U.S. as well as “The Father”, “Stolen Life” and “Foster Mother” in the U.S. and Spanish-speaking countries in Latin America.
Muge Akar, ATV’s Head of Global Sales, expressed her excitement at how ATV’s Turkish dramas continue to captivate audiences in the U.S. and Latin America and will be available for free on Canela.TV for fans to enjoy. Previously, the company had announced it had sold “Safir” in Romania, where Antena TV picked up the title shortly after it was presented to international broadcasters and platforms at Mipcom in October.
Moreover, the company recently announced an agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery in Italy, marking ATV's first deal with the territory, in which “Hercai” would be the pioneer content under this collaboration.
