Big Bad Boo Studios greenlights season two of their original animated series, "The Bravest Knight" that will be air on Hulu and CBC Kids later this year. The series, that has been praised for being one of the first all-ages animations to star an openly gay main character, is set to launch with a returning cast of stars including T. R. Knight as Sir Cedric, Wilson Cruz as Prince Andrew, and Bobby Moynihan as Grunt. Returning in the role of Red Dragon is Christine Baranski.

Show Creator Daniel Errico said, “We are thrilled by the show’s reception, and excited for the chance to reveal the next chapter of the story, brought to life by a remarkable cast."

On top of the all-star ensemble, which includes Steven Weber as the Head Knight, season two boasts a dizzying array of new stars, including Emmy and Tony-Award winning actor Alan Cumming and Emmy and Golden Globe winner Jane Lynch.

Season two of "The Bravest Knight" continues the story of Sir Cedric as he shares tales of how he became a brave knight to his daughter, Nia, an aspiring knight herself. Now married to the Prince, Cedric recounts his own adventures as a young Not-Yet-Knight, alongside his troll friend Grunt and messenger raven Saylor.

Directed by Shabnam Rezaei, "The Bravest Knight" remains a trailblazer in children’s entertainment. Season one, which is currently available to stream on Hulu, included special guests RuPaul as the cross-dressing Big Bad Wolf, AJ McLean, Wanda Sykes, and Jazz Jennings.
