New York-based Big Media has green-lit "Alien Files: Reopened" after pre-selling the eight-part series in various territories around the world.

“For Alien Files: Reopened we are using the same investigative techniques developed and utilized by top experts in science and military intelligence,” notes Danny Wilk, President of  Big Media Holdings. “This is our third series in the UFO and unexplained phenomena space and we have really dug deep to find the top experts and historical records to bring audiences the most accurate and compelling information to date. It’s a topic that is engaging to viewers all over the world.”

Following Big Media’s Netflix top 10 successful title, "Top Secret UFO Projects Declassified," "Alien Files: Reopened" has been sold to A+E/History in the UK; AMC for Spain, Portugal, Poland and Romania; and NTV in Germany, as well as to broadcasters Slovakia TV and Czech TV. Production is scheduled to begin soon in Slovakia.

The title discusses multiple UFO sightings and extraterrestrial encounters reported across the globe overtime. The appearances have been analyzed by dedicated scientists, government intelligence and military experts to determine if they are an imminent threat. "Once deemed inconclusive or extraterrestrial, they investigate the patterns among these sightings to answer the real question of why they are here and if they pose a threat to national security.  Alien Files: Reopened will take viewers inside the process and expose findings never revealed before," the release explains.
