CDC United Network announced the end of filming of “Todas Menos Tú,” its first local Mexican production, produced by No Idea Entertainment, in collaboration with Zima Entertainment and Cinépolis Distribución. The movie was shot in Tulum and directed by Mexican director Luis Kuri.

“Todas Menos Tú” is the story of a group of very close friends, those kinds of friends that think they cannot live one without the other. Everything is fine until one of them, Luis, played by Ricardo Abarca, announces that he is going to marry Gaby (Carolina Miranda). The other friends do not support his decision and two nights before the wedding they seem to find the best opportunity to sabotage the event.

The fun romantic comedy features some of Mexico’s most recognizable and popular movie stars. In addition to Ricardo Abarca and Carolina Miranda, the cast also includes Cassandra Sánchez Navarro, as well as Jesús Zavala, Ana González Bello and Ozwaldo Zárate, among others.

“We are very excited to bring this fun comedy to audiences across Latin America. It has all the ingredients to make it a success: great characters, comedy, romance, beautiful locations, and a wedding. We also could not be happier with the cast we have all been able to assemble. These are Mexico’s most in demand current acting talent,”  commented Erik Jensen, Managing Partner at CDC.

“Our experience working with No Idea Entertainment, Cinépolis Distribución and Zima Entertainment on this production could not have been smoother and more professional. We hope to do many more like this in the future,”  Jensen added.

The release is currently scheduled in Mexico for the end of this year on more than 1000 screens through Cinépolis Distribución.
