"The job interview"
At this year’s Asia TV Forum, Central TV announces the acquisition of two international formats: "The Wishing Tree" and "The Job Interview". Both shows are set to premiere in Mongolia in the spring of 2025. The deal was brokered by Ayesha Surty, Head of Brand Partnerships Asia, ITV Studios.
"The Wishing Tree" has captivated viewers around the globe with its touching premise and Mongolia now becomes the 14th country to bring this inspiring format to life. In "The Wishing Tree", the big wishes of small children come true, but with a heartfelt twist. These young dreamers aren’t wishing for themselves—they’re making extraordinary gestures for people they believe truly deserve them. Packed with adorable moments and emotional surprises, the series is a celebration of kindness and community that promises to melt hearts across Mongolia.
Also, Mongolia is the 8th territory to adapt "The Job Interview", a format that offers a riveting, real-world glimpse into the high-stakes world of job interviews. The series takes viewers behind the scenes of this often private and nerve-wracking experience, exploring the tension, triumphs, and failures that unfold as candidates and employers strive to make a perfect match. From the words spoken to body language and wardrobe choices, every detail in The Job Interview matters—and viewers will witness firsthand what it takes to succeed or stumble in the pursuit of career dreams.
Augustus Dulgaro, EVP, Asia Pacific, Global Partnerships, ITV Studios praised the formats: "We’re thrilled to see 'The Wishing Tree' and 'The Job Interview' launch in Mongolia with Central TV. These formats bring universal themes of kindness, humanity, and real-world challenges to life, and we’re confident they’ll deeply resonate with Mongolian audiences, just as they have globally;" stated.
Dulguun Altansukh, Deputy Director at Central TV expressed that the agreement aligns with the company's strategy: “We are delighted to bring these two amazing formats to Mongolia. 'The Wishing Tree' will inspire and uplift our viewers with its heartwarming tales of generosity, while 'The Job Interview' offers an unprecedented lens into a relatable and high-pressure environment. Both shows align perfectly with Central TV’s commitment to delivering compelling, world-class content to our audience," noted.
