Swedish Comedy-Drama "Everyone But Us," globally represented by Eccho Rights, has been picked up by broadcasters in the Netherlands and Germany. The series airs on NPO3 and NPO Plus in the Netherlands, whilst One Gate Media have licensed the free TV rights for NDR Germany as well as the VOD rights for German-speaking Europe.

Warner Bros. International Sweden produces the tragi-comic story of a young couple struggling to conceive a baby and first aired on Discovery Plus in February of 2021. The series is set to come back for a second season, currently in production.“’Everyone But Us’ tells a very relatable story, whether it has happened to you or someone you know. It is told with a great deal of comedy but also heart”, says Lucy Roberts, Director of Sales at Eccho Rights.

The series tells the story of a happy couple, Ola and Hilma, but with one thing missing – they are desperate to have children. Surrounded by friends with happy family lives and with new pregnancies and babies seemingly constantly announced within their social group, their inability to conceive is felt acutely, and they are worried that they might never have kids. They have seemingly tried everything, with fertility treatments, sperm donators, and more, but their attempts are fruitless. As the pressure to have a baby builds from all corners – their friends, family, but above all else, themselves – their relationship is put under stress, but as the attempts to get pregnant become increasingly desperate, they find a deeper level to their love that is just enough for them to carry on trying.
