Electric Entertainment's “Ask Me To Dance” to be premiered at theaters in the US

The romantic comedy written, directed and starring Tom Malloy will debut in US theaters on October 7. The film also stars Briana Evigan, Mario Cantone and Joyce DeWitt.

Electric Entertainment's feature film “Ask Me to Dance,” written, directed and starring Tom Malloy ("Love N’ Dancing") will debut in US theaters on October 7, 2022. The endearing romantic comedy follows the journey of two people destined to meet and fall in love on New Year’s Eve. The nationwide theatrical release will include at least 25 top U.S. markets including Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago, Detroit, Houston, Las Vegas, Miami, Nashville, Pittsburgh, and Minneapolis.

Malloy comments, “I am thrilled that this film will be watched by audiences on the big screen. 'Ask Me to Dance' is filled with laughter, romance, and dance…a perfect date night movie for all couples and an uplifting film for the hopeful romantics.”



Also starring Mario Cantone (“Sex and The City”), Joyce DeWitt (“Three’s Company”), “Ask Me to Dance,” follows Jack (Malloy), an I/T programmer -- a great guy, however, unlucky in love. Jill (Evigan) is a graphic designer, a great gal, and just as unlucky. They have no idea they are destined to be together.

“Ask Me to Dance” has a running time of 94 minutes. It is a Trick Candle Production and was filmed in Rochester, New York. The film was Executive Produced by Charlie Shrem and Sean King.
