FILMRISE HIRES EX VIACOMCBS EXECUTIVE AS SENIOR DIRECTOR OF GLOBAL ACQUISITIONS

FilmRise has announced the appointment of the ex ViacomCBS executive Jonitha Keymoore, as Senior Director of Global Acquisitions. She will be responsible for developing new multi-territory film and television acquisition opportunities while working across existing content partners to help build FilmRise’s growing global licensing and distribution business.

Max Einhorn, Senior Vice President, Acquisitions & Co-Productions at FilmRise states: “We are thrilled to have Jonitha join the FilmRise team. Her impressive and extensive background managing important brands and acquiring for globally-known networks and streaming services will certainly allow FilmRise to continue its strategy to be the key content supplier for streamers and fuel growth for the FilmRise Streaming Network.”

As Senior Director of Global Acquisitions for FilmRise, Keymoore  Keymoore will represent FilmRise as a buyer at virtual film and television markets throughout 2021 and will report directly to Mr. Einhorn.

Previously, Ms. Keymoore was Senior Director, Content Acquisitions at ViacomCBS where she served in a senior strategic role for the company, negotiating deal terms for acquired content and working directly with large studios such as Sony, Disney, Fox, CBS, WarnerBros and NBCUniversal.  

This appointment follows the recent promotion of Melissa Wohl to Senior Vice President, Head of Sales who will continue to lead the company’s domestic and international sales activities across all broadcast and digital platforms alongside her continuously expanding team, due to the company’s rapid growth.
