France tv distribution adds two new titles to its documentary line-up

France tv distribution is launching the international distribution of two new documentaries, "Fragments of War" and "Women of October 7" produced by Chrysalide Productions & Éléphant Adventures and directed by Solène Chalvon-Fioriti.

"Fragments of War" (48'), through the testimonies of Palestinian women, offers an intimate perspective on the conflict and its profound effects on their lives. Whether they endure it, defy it, or fuel it, Palestinian women are marked by this war in the most visceral ways: giving birth amidst the bombs, enduring the scrutiny of their bodies at checkpoints, yearning to shield a child so deeply that they wish they could "return them to the womb"... Women of Palestine highlights the vulnerability of women during wartime and provides a newfound understanding of the human cost of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

"Women of October 7" (30'), is an unprecedented perspective on the Israeli-Palestinian war through the testimonies of Israeli women affected by the cataclysmic events of October 7, 2023. Whether they are victims or actors in the conflict, each woman's identity is indelibly marked: motherhood, the body, sexuality, and personal space are all under siege. Women of Israel offers an intimate narrative, shedding light on how war impacts women in ways that are distinctly different from men.
