GoQuest Media has secured sales for the Polish crime drama "Erinyes" (12x45’). Greece’s OTT platform COSMOTE TV has acquired exclusive PAY TV & VOD rights, and Lithuanian Public Broadcaster LRT, secure linear and VOD rights for FreeTV.

The psychological crime series "Erinyes", now available on Netflix Poland, is produced by Poland’s largest television network Telewizja Polska (TVP) and directed by Borys Lankosz. The series is based on the crime novels by writer Marek Krajewski. It stars Marcin Dorocinski known internationally for his role as Vasily Borgov, aka 'The Russian' in Netflix's smash hit, “The Queen's Gambit”.

Set in pre- and post-war Lviv and Wrocław, Edward Popielski (Marcin Dorocinski) is a detective inspector of extraordinary intellect and physical strength who is tormented by visions caused by epilepsy attacks, which he uses to his advantage in investigations. He works as an officer of the law but operates outside of it. Just like the Erinyes, the Greek goddesses who most desire revenge, Popielski has no mercy in the brutal criminal world he lives in. "Erinyes" is a retrospective crime series that also paints a vivid picture of the Borderlands and post-war Poland, shedding light on the vibrant, multicultural, and beautiful lands that disappeared behind the eastern border.

Commenting on the sales, Ofeyla Tovmasyan, Sales – CEE, CIS Western Europe at GoQuest Media added, "'Erinyes', has sparked immense interest across CEE and Western Europe. It's a one-of-a-kind drama that immerses and delves viewers into the world of pre- and post-WWII Europe and deserves a global audience. We can't wait for the world to discover the brilliant mind of Detective Edward Popielski. This is just the beginning; look out for more!"
